Actually there is a way how to display currently configured date format.
Change language to <auto> and uncheck "Use local date format".
Like on the screenshot:
Such combination works for me.

Option "Use local date format" means that current Windows date settings are used.
Please check local settings in your Windows system.

Thanks for the reply.
I have checked that my windows settings are for UK formats.
Checking or unchecking "use local data format" makes no differnece in Cash and the City.
date format
It seems to be a bug.
